Privacy Policy
VibeHub helps founders publish work, discover potential collaborators, message one another, and keep private collaboration notes. This policy explains the information VibeHub processes and the choices available to you.
Information we process
- Account information: an Apple or Google account identifier. Google may also provide a verified email address and display name. We do not receive your Apple or Google password. The bundled Google Sign-In SDK declares that it may process account profile fields (including a phone number when available to the Google sign-in flow), OAuth identifiers, a device identifier, IP-derived general location, and limited usage/security information for sign-in functionality and analytics. VibeHub's backend receives the Google ID token and stores the verified Google user identifier, email, and display name; it does not intentionally request or store a Google phone number or Google device identifier.
- Profile and content: your name, headline, bio, skills, city or remote preference, founder goals, public posts, messages, private collaboration plans, bookmarks, privacy settings, blocks, and reports.
- Subscription information: an internal VibeHub account identifier, App Store purchase history, and entitlement status are processed through RevenueCat so VibeHub can unlock Pro access, restore purchases, and view subscription analytics. Apple processes payment; VibeHub does not receive payment-card details.
- Service and security information: request timing, moderation status, recent-message information used to prevent duplicates or excessive sending, and limited operational diagnostic logs processed by Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers. Cloudflare's automatic Worker logs can include request URLs; some API paths contain internal record identifiers that can be associated with an account. VibeHub does not deliberately write authorization headers, session tokens, or message bodies to application logs.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, provide profiles and posts, generate explainable profile-based match suggestions, deliver messages, save private collaboration records, verify Pro access, respond to support requests, investigate reports, enforce community rules, and maintain the service.
VibeHub does not use private messages in match scoring. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
Age and younger users
VibeHub is for people aged 13 and older. We do not currently verify users' ages and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact luyuyang2025@gmail.com so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to remove the account and its personal information, subject to the limited safety or legal retention described below. Users aged 13 to 17 should be careful about what they make public and can use the visibility, blocking, and reporting controls described below.
Public and private information
Approved profiles and posts may be visible to signed-in users and guests, subject to your privacy settings. New posts and profile revisions are visible only to you until reviewed. Your previous approved profile remains public while a revision is pending. Messages and private collaboration records are available only to the participating or owning account as described in the app.
Safety and moderation
Before a private message is delivered, a limited automated check looks for explicit threats, sexual exploitation requests, repeated messages, and simple spam patterns. The check can make mistakes and does not guarantee detection of every harmful message. You can block an account or report an account, post, or message. Reports may include the reported content's identifier and a limited excerpt for review.
Service providers
VibeHub uses Apple and Google for sign-in, Apple for App Store billing, RevenueCat for subscription status, Cloudflare for the application API and database, and Expo/EAS for app builds and delivery. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Your controls
In Profile → Privacy you can control public discovery, city display, public-activity matching, and new conversations. You can block accounts. In Profile → Settings you can export your VibeHub data or permanently delete your account.
Retention and deletion
We retain account data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Deleting your account removes its profile drafts, posts, bookmarks, conversations, messages, private records, blocks, and active sessions from the live VibeHub application database. Expired session records are removed by a daily cleanup.
Open safety reports are retained while they are being investigated. When a report is resolved, its report details and limited content excerpt are retained for 180 days and then removed by a daily cleanup. If an account is deleted before then, its account identifiers are removed from the live report record. We may retain a record longer only when reasonably necessary to comply with law or preserve evidence for an active legal claim.
Cloudflare Workers operational logs are retained for no more than 7 days. Deleted database information may remain in Cloudflare D1 point-in-time recovery history for no more than 30 days before aging out. Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase records under their own policies and legal obligations. Deleting a VibeHub account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Contact and requests
For access, correction, deletion, privacy questions, or requests involving a service provider, email luyuyang2025@gmail.com. Rights vary by location; we will respond as required by applicable law.
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
